Saskatchewan Music Educators Association 2021-22 Annual Report

Updated: Nov 21, 2022

This is a wonderful recap of our past fiscal year of the programs, activities, and trainings that occurred between September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2022.

SMEA would like to thank the generous support from Sask Lotteries and SaskCulture, with their support we are able to host a variety of workshops, programs, conventions that promote music excellence within Saskatchewan.

SMEA's 2021/2022 Full Annual Report

This year was unlike no other as our programs transitioned back into in person events towards the end of our fiscal year. SMEA welcomed new programs and sponsored cultural workshop series in addition to holding our SMC Conference and Saskatchewan Honour Groups Virtually.

A major change for our organization is the opportunity for members of the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation to obtain a free SMEA Membership. You can simply log into your STF account and select SMEA as your preferred Professional Growth Network and they will cover the membership costs for you! Be sure to still visit this website and renew your SMEA Membership Annually each September 1!
