SMEA Music Outreach

 The SMEA Music Outreach Project will establish a drop-in style music program(s) to be delivered in multiple areas of the province.

 

This project will consist of providing music education sessions to locations of already existing daycares, summer camps, and senior’s homes, bringing the music educator to you!

 

Aims and Goals

  • To make meaningful connections

  • To reinforce music education in your community

  • To share experiences with those who may not otherwise have had an opportunity

  • To have fun!

Each Coordinator will arrange up to 30 FREE Music Outreach workshops in their own local community!

How does it work?

  1. A coordinator will contact various Senior Homes, Assisted Living, Daycares and other existing programs in their local community to inquire if they would like to receive Music Outreach workshop 

  2. The receiving facility agrees to having music education in their program/building 

  3. We ask for the facility receiving an outreach to please tag and share our FB PROMOTIONAL AD

  4. Receiving facility is asked to fill out the follow up form and tell us how we did

  5. Instructors are asked to fill out a follow up form
