The Saskatchewan Music Educators Association (SMEA) is proud to present Resonate Junior, a premiere initiative dedicated to enhancing music education for students in Grades 1 through 6.
As part of SMEA’s commitment to providing high-quality professional development and classroom opportunities, Resonate Junior offers a specialized platform for younger learners to explore, create, and connect through music.
About Resonate Junior
Resonate Junior is a music education program designed specifically for the elementary classroom. It bridges the gap between curriculum and performance, offering students and educators across Saskatchewan access to interactive musical experiences.
About the program:
Target Audience: Exclusively designed for students in Grades 1–6.
Accessibility: The program focuses on providing classroom-ready resources and workshops that are accessible to all educators across the province.
Interactive Learning: Resonate Junior features interactive sessions where classes participate in music-making, guided by professional artists and music educators.
"Plug and Play" Design: The sessions are designed to be easy for educators to implement, requiring minimal setup to begin the musical experience.
