RESONATE

Resonate is a music enrichment program that provides students with structured, high-quality music learning experiences outside of the regular classroom setting. The program focuses on the development of foundational and intermediate musical skills through ensemble-based instruction led by qualified music educators.
Resonate supports skill-building in areas such as singing, rhythm, listening, musicianship, and collaborative music-making. Programming is designed to complement school music education by offering additional time, focus, and resources for students to engage in purposeful music learning.
Resonate has been offered in Saskatchewan and is delivered in alignment with sound music education practices, creating consistent, age-appropriate learning experiences for participating students.
Resonate Junior

Resonate Junior is a music enrichment program designed for elementary-aged students that focuses on developing foundational musical skills through structured, engaging instruction. The program provides students with opportunities to explore music-making in a supportive group setting while building skills such as singing, rhythm, listening, and ensemble participation.

Previously offered through Prairie Spirit School Division in Saskatchewan, Resonate Junior is now offered by the Saskatchewan Music Educators Association (SMEA). The program aligns with educational best practices in music education and is led by qualified music educators.

Resonate Junior emphasizes skill development, collaboration, and positive musical experiences, supporting students’ growth as confident and capable young musicians while complementing school-based music learning.
