Inaugural Saskatchewan Music Education Day will be this September 15, 2022
There will be a live public event, hosted by Dr. David Dick, featuring Dr. Devin Seghers and Jennifer McAllister at 4:30pm on September 15, 2022 at the University of Regina in the Education Building (room ED 193) which will be live streamed on SMEA's Facebook Channel and uploaded to this YouTube Channel as it becomes available!
The proclamation is to honour music educators in the province and promote the benefits of music.
The goal is to promote the importance of music education so it remains a crucial part of school curriculums and future employment prospects for university students.
