January Resources

SMEA

We are excited to introduce the January edition of our SMEA Resource Packages, designed to support Saskatchewan Arts Education outcomes. These packages will include a variety of games, activities, and valuable knowledge tailored for all grade levels. Each package will be themed around seasons, holidays, or fun activities that can be used year-round.

We’re thrilled to launch our fifth package which contains a variety of lesson plans and resources for Black History Month in February. These resources were created in partnership with MusiCounts and feature 7 different lessons for Grades 7-12.

The following resources are linked to our Teachers Pay Teachers store. They are entirely FREE to download.

New resources will be released on or before the 15th of each month with activities for the following month, so be sure to keep an eye on your inbox!

We are also excited to share another free workshop opportunity for your classroom! This workshop is being put on by LiveArts and features Anthony Pasqua, an Indigenous drumming and hip-hop artist from Surrey, BC. More information can be found by clicking on the photo below or by visiting:

Any questions or comments? Have photos to share of your class using our resources?

Send them to smeapr@gmail.com and we will be more than happy to help!
